Targeting latter October 2009, EMBARQ CLEC Resale customers in Ohio will be converted to the (former) CenturyTel billing system. This means a new CenturyLink branded and formatted invoice that looks different than the one currently received. For FAQ's regarding this conversion, please see below.
All other customers will only see the new CenturyLink name and logo change while the invoice format will remain the same. Customers will be notified as further changes occur.

- Will my current rates that I have with EMBARQ change?
- No. We are not planning any rate changes as part of this conversion.
- When I'm converted to the new billing system, will my account number change?
- Yes, after conversion you will receive a new, shorter account number. This account number will be 9 digits and replaces your existing 13-digit number.
- Once I'm converted to the new billing system, will the remittance address change?
- Yes, the remittance address will change. After conversion, please remit payment to the address on the remittance coupon: P.O. Box 4300, Carol Stream, IL 60197-4300.
- Who will I make my payment to once converted to the new billing system?
- All customers will see the new CenturyLink brand on invoices in late October (regardless of being converted to a new billing system or not) and will begin to make checks payable to CenturyLink. This will also be identified on your invoice.
- Can you tell me how to read my new invoice?

- Will the EMBARQ toll-free-billing number change?
- The toll-free-number you use to contact us will not change at this time. This number can be found on your invoice.
- If I use an electronic bill pay service, will I need to update any information with them?
- Yes. If you use an electronic bill pay service, such as one provided by your bank, be sure to update the remittance address and, if necessary, your new account number.
- Will there be any changes to the online repair ticket system after converting to the new billing system?
- Yes. Ticket status/history functionality on the CenturyLink wholesale website will not be available once customers are converted to the new billing system. To check ticket status or history, Ohio CLEC Resale customers will need to contact the service center specified on the website repair page.
